Ergonomics are an important part of making sure your company’s employees are safe, comfortable, and productive. Unfortunately, not all ergonomic issues are easy to find. Even small issues such as lighting, glare, or improper posture can create troublesome problems over time. Our equipment analysis services are designed to determine where potential ergonomic issues might be, and to provide recommendations on how to make real, impact full changes.

Why Undergo an Equipment Analysis?

When your office or work space undergoes an ergonomic assessment, your employees or coworkers benefit from a safer environment. Ergonomic workplaces lead to better efficiency and less risk of injury, which in turn reduces absenteeism and improves worker experience. Employees in an ergonomic work space are happier, more comfortable, and tend to have better morale than those in an unsafe environment.

Our Process for Equipment Analysis & Selection

  • Ease of movement
  • Workstation setup
  • Posture
  • Lighting and glare
  • Optimal height and angles for equipment

After our assessment, we will make short and long term recommendations on ergonomic improvements worth pursuing. We may offer recommendations in several different areas, including changes in work style, purchasing new or specialized furniture, or re-configuring existing furniture. After the assessment, we will provide a written report containing our recommendations.

Our equipment analysis pairs well with our education services. Educated workers will better understand how best to use their new workstations to avoid injury and manage discomfort.
